Teradata Results 2007
Teradata Corporation announces the first annual result as independent company

After last year's spin-off from NCR Corporation the results 2007 of Teradata Corporation have been expected with particular interest.
For 2007 Teradata reported a total revenue of 1.072 Billion US$, an increase of 10% compared to last year.

With a revenue increase of 18% the EMEA region (Europe / Middle East / Africa) delivered a significant contribution to the successful overall result of Teradata Corporation.

The 2007 Operating Income was 320 Million US$, an increase of 6% compared to last year.
Results were affected by higher investments for Research & Development, personnel growth in Sales and Professional Services, as well as by costs associated with Teradata Corporation's spin-off.

Teradata finalises 2007 with a strong cash position of 270 Million US$, an increase of 74 Million US$ since the spin-off per end of September 2007.

For 2008 Teradata expects an ongoing solid revenue increase of 5 to 8 percent acquired by organic growth. Main strategy is the further expansion of Teradata's core competences in Data Warehousing and Active Enterprise Intelligence - both, in reference to technology as well as to consulting capabilities.
